Tamil Nadu Government Challan Forms

I am enclosing the Challan forms that are required to remit money in to Tamil Nadu State Government Accounts.

Challan Form [ Remitter Copy | Department Copy | Treasury Copy ]

Three Challan Forms are required; a remitter copy, a department copy and a treasury copy. These Forms are available at the Treasury department of local Collectorate or Taluk Office.

  1. Download and print the Forms. You can even photocopy them to save some money.

  2. Fill the Forms and get the official seal at the Collectorate or Taluk Office.

  3. Go to the appropriate branch of State Bank of India (SBI) that happens to remit money to State Government Accounts.

NOTE: At Madurai, if your residence falls under Madurai-North, then the SBI branch at Tallakulam (opposite to Tallakulam Anjaneyar Temple) handles the transaction. If your residence falls under Madurai-South, then the SBI branch at Vinayaka Nagar (in between Raja Muthiah Mandram and Madurai Maditssia Building) handles the transaction.

Please pass on this information to those that might find it useful.
