Skype outsources its Customer Service to Elbonia

Caution: Raw expression of human emotion

<rant>

If you have ever used Skype, the online voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) based telephone service that lets you to call landlines and mobiles (around the globe) at a fixed monthly subscription or call other online skype users for free, you will notice that they do not have an online customer support.

I am pretty sure Skype has a minimum of million subscribers unless otherwise Vonage or an equivalent VoIP service stole their customer base on a surprise overnight raid with un-fuckin-believable subscription rates. Skype management strategy is so fucked up (to say the least) like the U.S. Financial Quagmire that at this rate I have to withdraw my subscription service with Skype. This is not a threat. This is a plain way of snubbing your customers and being totally callous to what they need.

Unable to find a customer service number or live support, i send out an e-mail explaining a confusion with billing. After 48 hours (they claim they usually get back in 2 fucking days) their customer support person (hopefully has a human name) replies through electronic text (read: e-mail) - an information that I could very easily get by visiting the Skype Account page.

I guess Skype should fire its top brass and reinstitute the souls that made originally made it a popular Service. I asked their customer support to put their CEO on line (the next time they reply to my e-mail) and wished he ran as a running mate to the squirrel brained Republican candidate, Sarah Palin (yeah the hockey mom and former Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska). Sarah Palin makes M.K.Alagiri appear like an intellectual.

Mothafuckers!
