In a dramatic development, Maran Bros (a.k.a SUN brothers) patched up with their granddad, Karunanidhi, and his sons Alagiri and Stalin. After rehearsing the reunion scene for several hours (behind the media glare), Kalanidhi Maran was still unable to render a genuine patch up scene in front of the camera. When asked about the unusual amount of tears rolling out of Tamil Nadu CM’s eyes, sources close to the CM said that the glycerin content was to blame. In spite of high glycerin content by the background makeup artist, Alagiri wasn’t able to shed a tear. Some insiders point out that, their “thala” has already shed too many tears after venturing in to movie distribution of “Vaaranam Aayiram”.
Coming back to the topic, it was the “Nalai namathey” song by the late political archrival, “Puratchi Thalaivar” MGR that actually sowed the seeds of reunion. So, until I see you next time, watch the reunion song and enjoy ;).
