Robert Ludlam, the popular author of Bourne Series, in a function held at Madurai, released a vernacular edition of Bourne Series named after the local hero, Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar. In the function, the highly successfully Box Office versions of Bourne Series were dubbed and released as follows:

Speaking on the occasion, the casteist leader, Dr. Sethuraman, felt that if Pasumpon Muthuramlinga Thevar was present today, he would have been extremely happy with the global appeal. He also emphasized the need to push India on a Casteist agenda thereby leading to more National unity. Somehow this paradoxial statement missed the assembled Press due to Microphone mal-function.
