Test your PHP skill level

Phew! I spent the last couple of weeks, in bits and pieces, to come up with a skill assessment platform. The platform can be extended to assess different set of skills.

As an initial effort, I took the trouble of setting PHP skill assessment questions (still in its fledgling state) to check a candidate’s level of expertise - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Depending on the selection of skill level, questions are served to the user and based on the test taker’s performance, the difficulty level is assessed and appropriate questions are rendered.

These tests also carry negative marks for incorrect answers. A pre-beta version of the skill assessment platform is available to the general audience - in the form of PHP skill assessment program. Feel free to chip in suggestions as well as notify me of any conspicuous bugs. I did an early round of testing (as in QA) and fixed a few.

If you are eager to take one, I would say, you will face not more than 20 questions. It can even be lesser - depending on the skill level that you choose.

Here you go…[click here]

Good Luck!

P.S: The testing platform is meant to evolve with time. I hope to add more questions to the existing set as well as open-source it.

    Hi Prasanna,

I really think this is a great application. I think this is worth advertising, than what unworthy spam we receive in various PHP groups and communities in the name of phptests. See how unworthy is this link http://www.testmyphp.com, I would not even refer beginners here.
