I know this is a late review. Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (வெண்ணிலா கபடி குழு) surprisingly turned out to be a refreshing one from Suseendran (The Director). The Cinematographer, Lakshman, also deserves credit. I think Kollywood has a promising line up of Cinematographers and the other one of interest to me is Muthiah (of Poo fame).
Apart from the usual “love at first sight” set in a rural mileu, the story has an interesting presentation of local characters. It gets better in the second half.
